Yes!

Official statement from the band...

Faith No More has always stood out as some sort of unique beast; part dog, part cat--its music almost as schizophrenic as the personalities of its members. When it all worked, it worked really well, even if the chemistry was always volatile. Throughout our 17years of existence, the mental and physical energy required to sustain this creature was considerable and relentless. Though amicable enough, when we finally split, we all followed paths seemingly destined to opposite ends of the universe.

Yet during the entire 10 years that have passed since our decision to break up we've experienced constant rumors and requests from fans and promoters alike. Nevertheless, for whatever reason, none of us kept in regular touch, much less to discuss any possibilities of getting together.

What's changed is that this year, for the first time, we've all decided to sit down together and talk about it. And what we've discovered is that time has afforded us enough distance to look back on our years together through a clearer lens and made us realize that through all the hard work, the music still sounds good, and we are beginning to appreciate the fact that we might have actually done something right.

Meanwhile we find ourselves at a moment in time with zero label obligations, still young and strong enough to deliver a kickass set, with enthusiasm to not only revisit our past but possibly add something to the present. And so with this we've decided to hold our collective breaths and jump off this cliff....
BACK, GOD FORBID, INTO THE MONKEY CAGE!!!

We can only hope that the experience of playing together again will yield results erratic and unpredictable enough to live up to the legacy of FNM.
Who know where this will end or what it will bring up...only the future knows. But we are about to find out!

FAITH NO MORE are:
Mike Bordin, Roddy Bottum, Bill Gould, Jon Hudson and Mike Patton

Chances are, I hate your band.

Sorry, but thats just the way it is, I could deal with it when the majority of bands were ripping off the stooges or the beatles; But it seems now that most are faded facsimiles of either the Arctic monkeys or the bloody libertines (that joke wore thin AGES ago) There are of course exceptions to the rule, and a few bands that have been getting the love from me are Crystal Stilts- A f***ing awesome band from New York, they sound like a more druggy velvet underground if thats possible. Also check out Dinosaur Pile-Up- A british band who should be absolutely massive if theres any justice (another great band)

So I have my copy of Streetfighter IV

I pretty much always use Blanka, and am as yet unbeaten in the office. My gamertag is 'alxalxalx' if anyone wants to throw down. Am toying with whether to buy a stick or not these look pretty good. The £150 versions are a little out of my price/girlfriend allowance range heh heh.
*updated* I just got beaten by Ben. bloody Ryu users.

This is the worst blog. Ever.

New simpsons HD intro. You could say I'm looking forward to it. Absolutely LOVING the part where Bart writes 'HDTV is worth every cent' on the blackboard. Yes.

Hello. I am a loser.

Could you please arrange an event so that I can meet up with other losers? Liverpool street train station sounds good, that'll really mess with all the people trying to get around to their jobs/get home to see loved ones etc. Oh, and if it can be recreating a mobile phone advert: even better. I'll bring a sign that says 'Free hugs' Mega Lolz!

Erm, Lost is amazing. End of.

My friend messaged me the other day saying 'Jack is back' of course referring to the new series of 24 starting; Im no fan (no agenda, just never got into it) but as far as iam concerned there is only one Jack I care about being back and that is is one Dr. Jack Shepherd.

I have managed to get all of the guys I work with into it. My dvds are pretty much always lent out. People who are proper into Lost are like freemasons. Lostmasons even.

So the new series is 5 eps in. Im hoooked. There is some serious time travel action (oooh spoiler!) and it is so well written that you dont give yourself a brain bubble working it all out. Bonus!

Could this be the greatest film that will ever be made ever?

I can go into how I was a little disappointed by the 'Dark Knight'. I could probably even make you admit that some bits of it werent perfect (Bales' too-gruff-by-far Batman voice for one) or how Nolan doesnt quite have the touch for heavy action. But the truth is that the reason I didnt quite love it is to do with me. I got too excited, I wound myself up into such a frenzy that there was no way it would have been as good as the film in my mind.

So I've tried to calm it down, I'm really looking forward to the Watchmen film, its one of my favourite books of all time so I know if i get too wound up I'll only end up hating it. But this film could take the biscuit. The cast looks simply AWESOME: Stallone (also directing) Mickey Rourke, Jet Li (yes!) Dolph Lundgren, Ghost Dog Forest Whitaker and even UFC crazy Randy Couture is in it. Jean claude van Damme has turned it down, but he is a loser now so whatever. Its called The Expendables. Trust me, it will be all kinds of great. It has to be. Or the puppy gets it.

Top 5 Stallone Films
1. Rocky 3
2. First Blood
3. Cop Land
4. Lock Up
5. Demolition Man

Please stop making 'Horror' films about Japanese girls with long hair

I loved Ring. Even Ring 2 - Fine, great, me and my girlfriend enjoyed them. until we heard that They were getting the 'American remake' treatment. Ive just finished watching The Grudge 2 on sky. What a waste of time! It was sneaky getting the director of the original (which is awesome) on board and having Sam Raimi as a producer. I FEEL CHEATED! The noises that the 'scary' girl made seemed to resonate with Beasley and it made him wake up with a start every time it came on. Which I admit is kind of funny.

If anyone is looking for some good asian cinema (not horror per se) to keep them going here is my top 5:
1. Oldboy
2. Battle Royale
3. Audition
4. Ring
5. Infernal affairs
